Cinematography Progression Report: Action!!! Unity3D
There is something exciting when working with 3D in Unity, something that puts you directly in the world you are trying to imagine. From lush forests, to dense cities, to empty hallways, and even the vast nothingness of space.
After finishing the Space Shooter Mini-Project in the GameDevHQ program, it is time to start a new one: Cinematography and Stealth Game Mini-Project. This will focus on cinematic elements and how to create cutscenes into creating some stealth mechanics for our game.
The assets are imported from The Great Fleece assets in the unity assets store created by GameDevHQ specifically for this course in partnership with Unity.
There is a lot to be learned here, from light probes to reflections to the beauty of 3D lights. Most importantly I am going to improve my skill in creating game cinematics using unity.
